Which inspection package do I need?

Standard suits most everyday used cars. Premium is worth it for higher-value, performance or older vehicles, or if anything about the car already concerns you. If you're unsure, send us the advert and we'll recommend one.

Do I need to be there?

No, it's up to you. You're welcome to come along, but you don't have to be there. Either way, your vehicle report is emailed to you after the inspection.

How long does an inspection take?

It depends on the vehicle and what we find. We'll give you an idea of timing when we arrange the inspection.

Can you check any make of car?

We inspect most petrol and diesel cars. Let us know the make and model when you get in touch and we'll confirm.

Can you inspect the car at the seller's address?

Yes. We can inspect the car at a private seller's home or a dealer's premises, as long as the seller agrees and it's a safe place to work.

Will an inspection find every fault?

No inspection can guarantee to find every fault, especially intermittent ones or problems inside the engine or gearbox. It does give you a much clearer picture of the car's condition before you buy.

What information should I send when booking?

The advert link or registration, the car's location, the seller's availability and anything you're already unsure about on the car.
